PLANNING

Each year we enrol five schools to our programme, this year we are planning to reach five. The schools have an average of 70 pupils per school (this number is not fixed however). We normally reach out every third term of every year to new joining schools. We move with our laptops to schools that have no computers already installed. With an aid of a well-structured timetable we are able to reach the number of schools we have within a week, the programme runs for the whole year. We have a curriculum that serves pupils from the 2nd grade to the 7th grade. The pupils pay a small fee to enable run and sustain the programme, the amount we collect also helps pay stipends for our teachers.

 
Towards the end of every term we reach out to various institutions i.e. churches and schools. This helps us in planning for our boot camps, the boot camp incorporates the kids, high school students and adults in a day at two hours’ lesson time intervals, it runs for a whole month. At the end of the program we issue certificates with a small ceremony to celebrate and mark the end of a successful camp.

We are also offering computers for sale at an affordable price, payment is available in installments after paying a down payment of almost half the total amount. No interest charges are paid when payed through installments. A new software has been introduced where you pay the agreed amount through mpesa pay bill and you receive a code via message which you use to unlock your PC until you settle the full amount, this can be daily, weekly or monthly after which the computer is fully unlocked. This program locks the computers on their bios (you can’t change the hard disk or format the machine), this ensures there’s commitment in paying the installments
