After the government’s project to introduce laptops and tablets to public schools, computer/digital skills gap was created between public schools and private schools especially in the informal schools. The kids from these schools felt left out by this program. This is mainly because these schools do not have adequate facilities that would support computer installation; others have no electricity or any other source of power. The absence of these essentials in turn lead to less innovation skills as there are no sources for such information. It is for this reason that Digitoto IT Solution was started and registered is an organization that was hence started and registered under community-based organization (C.B.O) as Digitoto Initiative Organization in 2016 and later as a business in 2017. We are a mobile computer lab and a social venture that aims at providing quality computer studies lessons to pupils in Kenya and especially in the informal settlements.
